Our Origin Story

Hi, my name is Santy, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and Doggy Canvas. Like most stories, it starts with a boy meeting a girl. Only difference in this story is we met in our 40’s. Laly and I came from long marriages and we both have kids. I have two daughters that are in their twenties, and Laly’s daughter just started high school.

We are huge Disney fans, so we decided to have a magical wedding aboard the beautiful Disney Wish cruise ship. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

Meet Juno

Besides our teenage daughter, we also live with our adorable Toy Poodle, Juno. He is such a little person with an amazing personality and endless unconditional love to give. Dogs are so incredible in that way. So how did Doggy Canvas get started?

The Birth of Doggy Canvas

Our daughter’s school has an incredible school spirit, and we all got our school shirts to show support—but Juno felt left out. So, we made him a Cuda Pup shirt and bandanna.

 

That spark of creativity led us to sign up for a school festival to share our Cuda Pup doggy shirts and bandanas with others. From there, Doggy Canvas was born!

Custom Creations

Our creativity expanded to include custom shirts for dogs and their owners, unique canvases, and detailed laser-engraved items. One of our favorite pieces is a set of cousin shirts where the dogs wear each other’s pictures.

We also create memorial pieces, like this beautiful “Man Cave” tribute for a dear friend.
